Household Pests
If you were asked to name the type of household pests that exist then the common pests such as Mice and rats and cockroaches will usually come to mind. If you were asked to think further, you may easily get stuck but the different variety of household pests that can occupy a home can be surprising. The list of pests can easily grow. 
The type of household pest that exists normally varies according to which part of the world you reside in. Varying climates and house structures invite various types of pests into a home. A list of commonly known household pests from around the world can include the following:
Mica and Rats – commonly found around the world
Cockroaches – A variety of cockroaches exist in various parts of the world. Cockroaches are common in tropical countries and can also be found in cooler climates, although not as common.
Bats – These are again more common in warmer climates and can be dangerous as well as a nuisance.
Carpet Beetles – As the name suggests found in household carpets
Wood worm – Found in wooden structure and can be detrimental to a house structure.
Wasps – Found commonly around the world and can be dangerous as well as a nuisance.
Termite – Again common around the world
Other rodents such as chipmunks and gophers.
Spiders – These are commonly found around the world with more dangerous spiders found in tropical countries.
Bed bugs – Again common in all countries
Ants – Pests found all over the world, more commonly in warmer climates.
